The DT Swiss XRC1501 Spline 30 MTB carbon wheels are extremely light at an impressive 1544 grams. The DT Swiss XRC1501 Spline 30 wheels are the best choice in cross-country or marathon races. This is because the DT Swiss XRC1501 Spline 30 wheels perform well in hilly terrain and with short explosive sprints.
The wide rims offer great stability and comfort. The hubs are equipped with the supple DT 240S insert with good sealing and durability. In addition, you can also ride tubeless to prevent punctures and keep the weight down. These wheels come complete with tubeless rim tape and valves.

By turning the nipple on the spoke, the adhesive is activated and begins to harden. The wheel can still be adjusted after the glue has fully hardened, with only a minimal loss of locking function. As a result, your wheels maintain much better spoke tension for longer. This extends durability and proper spoke tension by up to 20 times compared to wheels without Pro Lock nipples.
Tubeless ready
These wheels feature a tubeless ready rim that allows for the use of tubeless tyres and latex. This set-up minimises punctures. Should a puncture occur, the latex will fill the gap within seconds. Other advantages of riding tubeless are lower rolling resistance, more comfort and better grip. Of course, it is still possible to fit your old-fashioned folding tyres with inner tubes.
Some 12 speed cassettes must be mounted on the 10/11 speed Shimano/SRAM body. These are SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230 cassettes and almost all other 12 speed MTB cassettes with 11 as the smallest sprocket. MTB cassettes with 10 as the smallest sprocket need a special body. For Shimano this is a Micro-Spline body and for SRAM an XD-body.
